November 6, 2020 – Fort Collins/Lakeside KOA

Posted on November 12, 2020November 12, 2020 by Pam

Hey, I’m busy here!!!!!

This was supposed to be posted before this weeks snow but didn’t make it (I blame the Editor😊)  It didn’t stick this time but was still fun to walk in! (Ed. Note – Whatevs!!!!!)

We’ve been having highs and lows in our weather – just another bit of crazy in the year of 2020! Thankfully, the 14 inches of snow we had covered the fires and helped contain them. I will never understand how it can be so comfortable outside with the sun shining, snow on the ground and 42 degrees – best place for winter so far! (Ed. Note – Completely agree!!!)

Feet completely covered in snow!

Ducks on the partially frozen pond.

After a week or two of those temperatures, we’re back to fall. Sitting outside with bare legs and sandals😊 (Ed. Note – I think 2020 just needs to be rebooted!!!)

Our Colorado fall!

Spring is lovely this time of Year!!!!

We’re enjoying this last week of 60-70 degree weather, getting ready for more snow this week. In the meantime, the hubs, pups and I have walked around the lake here at our KOA. I took pictures of the animal paintings on the trees and thought you might like to see them. SO FUN!

Of course it is!!!!!!

As far as the knitting goes, it’s still going! This was a nice quick knit. I have racked my brain and my pictures to try to remember where I purchased this kit – it was a festival somewhere. (Ed. Note – You know that means you’re buying too much!!!!) However, I do know that the pattern and yarn came from Sheepish Creations by Robin and Pam Bates from Huntersville, NC. It is called the Snap Dragon Scarf made from a thick and thin yarn held with a merino/silk sparkle yarn. The fun part of the scarf was the Wensleydale locks that are put along the edges of the scarf – like having a little sheep along with you😊

I’ve also started on the hubs’ cardigan. (Ed. Note – That’s gonna make a great Independence Day present!!!!) I’m using Knitpicks Swish Worsted Weight in Squirrel Heather. It is beautifully soft and the stitch definition is lovely. The pattern is MILLE for men by Regina Moessmer. Hoping to have it finished by Christmas (fingers crossed – and NO comment from the Editor, please)! (Ed. Note – Hahahahahahahahaha!!! – Christmas!!! – This one or next?!?!?!?!?!?!!) (He’s just sooooo funny, isn’t he?)
