Can’t quit it, apparently!!!!!
After leaving Reed Point, we headed back to Missoula for more visiting with friends and it has become another favorite place to visit. Granite Peak RV Park sits in the valley in Wye, outside of Missoula and we can look at all the mountains surrounding us. They are covered in grassy areas and large evergreens and are a beautiful view 😊! (Ed. Note- When the smoke haze is gone you mean) (Well, yeah…)
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
I had a fun adventure the other day when I went back to visit Joseph’s Coat to pick up yarn for the hub’s requested hat. As I was wandering around the shop another woman came in for some souvenir yarn (See! I’m not the only one!). I noticed she was wearing a dress similar to but slightly different from mine. I happened to be wearing my newest sleeveless Camellia Wool& dress. While I was checking out, she asked if I was wearing a Wool& dress and I said yes! I commented on hers which she said was the Sierra. We had a great chat about how much we loved wearing our dresses and how most people don’t notice what you’re wearing most of the time. She, a school teacher, did the 100 Day Dress Challenge in a Rowena and the students in her classroom never noticed she’d worn the same thing for 100 days 😁!! (Ed. Note – See, I told you I’m not the only one!!!!)
By the time we finished talking, the Joseph’s Coat employee was writing down the name of the company for a look! I guess that’s one of the reasons for the 100 Day Dress Challenge – good free advertising! I hate that I didn’t get her name or a picture of us wearing our dresses but the surprise caught me off guard. It’s so fun finding people you have things in common with! (Ed. Note – Thank you, God!!!)
Another bundle for under the bed!!!!!
I purchased this lovely Earthstar yarn, took it home and wound it up. I’m ready to start the hubs Carthridge Rib hat and he’s gonna need it soon! (Ed. Note – Yes, he is. But, he’s gonna want it this fall, not next summer!!!!)
The plan is to finish my socks first though – I LOVE how quickly this Euro Baby Fair Isle yarn works up nice, squishy, boot socks and I can’t wait to wear them. I’m trying something a little different. Instead of knitting the bottom stitches of the socks, I am purling them. That way the stockinette is on the inside next to my foot and the purl bumps are on the outside. I’ve notice that after a couple of hours wearing socks made the other way (stockinette on the outside and purl bumps against my feet) that my feet start to feel a bit sore. I’m interested in seeing if this makes a difference. Stay tuned! (Ed. Note – Will do!!!!)
How funny that you found someone else wearing a Camilla Wool& dress out there. You always look stylish and cute when you wear yours. 😍
