Well, my Editor (the hubs) is a bit under the weather right now so my posts are a little behind and this one will not have any “interesting” section headings. I did attend the Taos Wool Festival the first weekend in October and I’ll get to that soon. Today I thought I’d just post some pictures of our week in South Fork and visit to Creede and the surrounding area.
We stayed at the Ute Bluff Lodge and RV Park in South Fork, Colorado. There are quite a number of RV Campgrounds to choose from in South Fork but only a few that are open past October and we learned why….The park was very nice and the owners very accommodating, however, there was an early freeze and the water had to be shut off. We were fine with that for 2 days but after that decided to head on to Loveland.
We visited Creede, an old mining town with some rich history was a neat place to visit. The area around town was BEAUTIFUL!
